About me
I teach Mandarin through language, structure, and human connection.
I’m Lin, a Mandarin teacher from Taiwan. Over the years, I’ve taught learners from different countries, ages, and backgrounds, both online and in person.
My life has been shaped by language and cultural movement. I’ve lived in Taiwan, Mainland China, Spain, and the UK, and I speak Mandarin, English, and Spanish. That experience deeply influences how I teach.
I know what it feels like to express yourself clearly in one language, and then search for that same version of yourself in another. That’s why I care about helping students find not just correct Mandarin, but personal Mandarin.
